The last lunch club in March was busy, thank goodness our students from Lindeth College had brought along some delicious soup they had made at college, which meant there was enough food to go round, they did a great job. The next lunch club is 13th May 12 noon.
Thanks to our volunteers from Whinfell Centre Shirley and Paul, who set up the conservatory, clean tables and get refreshments ready for Wednesday drop.
Our volunteers will be running the raffles at the Amaretti Chamber Orchestra Concerts in Arnside and Grange; sorry the dates have passed so I won’t put them in this article. We would like to thank to the local businesses who donated prizes.
I will see some of our volunteers in May at the Brewery for our visit to the theatre.
