Volunteers
Double-
We really couldn’t achieve all we do at South Lakeland Carers without the commitment and dedication of our volunteers. Volunteers are highly valued and involved in a wide range of roles across the organisation. You are bound to find something that interests you.
Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, improve your skills for employment and really make a difference to the life of someone who may be struggling. We welcome applications from people able to offer their time on a regular or ad hoc basis.

What our volunteers say
‘I look forward to my morning in the office. It has given me a feeling of still being useful after retirement by working alongside a very friendly group of people in a busy office environment. It is good to help out and feel appreciated’ Ailsa, admin volunteer.
